New Year's Eve and New Years Day in Branson
Branson shows, shopping, restaurants and other attractions are open for New Years Eve and New Years Day. Some theaters offer their regular show on New Year's Eve while others have a special New Year's Eve performance that is different than their regular show. Reservations are recommended.
thru Jan 2, 2012 Trail of Lights drive through display at Shepherd of the Hills carries you into the very heart of Christmas with animated scenes and holiday music on The Trail that winds through the historic 160-acre homestead. Each display has its own theme, from fantasy to religious, to patriotic; life-size (or larger than life) three-dimensional characters have their own housing and themed music. The Trail includes millions of Christmas lights with every building on park illuminated as well as hundreds of lighted displays. As the grand finale, visitors are invited to stop by Inspiration Tower and ride a glass elevator up 230’ for a Santa’s-eye-view of the lights from above. Tickets available to our guests at special rates.
thru Jan 2, 2012 Branson Area Festival of Lights Drive Through - One mile drive along a path illuminated with over 175 displays. Located off Shepherd of the Hills Expressway across from Sight & Sound Theater. Admission charge goes to support BAFL and Ozark Mountain Christmas.
thru Dec 31 Christmas on the Trail Chuckwagon Dinner Show includes a hearty dinner served from a vintage Chuckwagon. Then sing along with favorite carols cowboy-style around the campfire and reflect on the true meaning of the Christmas season. Trail of Lights drive-through light display included with admission to the dinner show. Tickets available to our guests at special rates.

Jan 20 Molly Brown Gallery Opening at Titanic Museum Attraction in Branson. An entire gallery displaying personal possessions, rare photographs, and priceless costumes from the movie musical "The Unsinkable Molly Brown".
Jan 21 Masters Trout Championship on Lake Taneycomo
Feb 3-5 18th Annual Celebration of Tastes - Big Cedar Lodge
Feb 4-5, National Ice Carving Association U.S. Nationals at Titanic Branson. This is a first-time event for Branson and a preliminary for competitors to go to Sochi, Russia, the host city for the XXII Olympic Winter Games in 2014.
Feb 6 Hot Winter Fun Big Show Sponsored by the Branson League of Theatre Owners & Show Producers at Dick Clark's American Bandstand Theatre. Cost is $30 for adults; ages 4-12, $10. Call 417-339-3003 for tickets. Snow date is Wednesday, Feb 15.
Mar 7 - 11 NAIA Division II Men's Basketball National Championship Tournament at College of the Ozarks. Up to eight games a day in this 32-team, single elimination tournament. Tickets available for individual sessions or tournament pass.

Meet Ms McKinney and hear the real story of Molly Brown.

3rd Week of Sept Annual Autumn Daze Arts & Crafts Festival in Historic Downtown Branson
Nov 11, 2012 Annual Veterans Day Parade and Ceremony capping off a week of events honoring our nation's Veterans. Traditionally held the 11th month, 11th day, 11th hour.
First Sunday in Dec Annual Adoration Parade and Lighting Ceremony in Historic Downtown Branson. Theme is traditionally "Keeping Christ in Christmas". This is an evening parade with lighted floats, bands, and other entries. A large nativity scene on the bluff overlooking downtown Branson is lighted before the parade begins.
